Breaking the Cycle of Domestic Violence, Poverty, and Abuse.  

Strengthen Our Sisters (S.O.S) is a grassroots, community based, nonprofit, 155 bed shelter serving homeless/battered women and children. S.O.S. is dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic violence, poverty, and abuse by helping women and children find alternatives through counseling, advocacy, support groups, parenting programs, child care, children's workshops and employment development programs.  St. David’s supports S.O.S. by contributing dedicated outreach funds in addition to donated toiletries, clothing and furniture.  In addition, parishioners provide holiday gifts for the children each year.
