Music is a vital part of our worship here at St. David’s. Our music program aims to enrich the worship experience, provide the opportunity for prayer through song, and foster fellowship and community. There are several ways to participate in the music program at St David’s.

St. David’s Choir – The choir provides liturgical music for the 10:00 am  Service and special services from September through June.  Rehearsals are held weekly on Thursday evenings from 7:30 pm-9:00 pm.  Warm up on Sunday begins at 9:15 am.  The choir makes a major contribution to the beauty and meaning of the worship service and enjoys a close fellowship.  Their repertoire is diverse including pieces from classic choral literature, Gospel, and contemporary works and arrangements.  All are welcome and no formal audition is required to join.

Cantors – Our Cantors lead the congregation in singing the Psalms, Gospel Acclamations, and other responsorial chants.  An audition is required for this ministry as well as regular rehearsals.

Joyful Noise –  Open to all who love music and desire a shared spiritual experience.  Joyful Noise offers an opportunity to perform contemporary Christian music, as well as current inspirational works, which are uplifting and relevant to our community, in a relaxed and informal setting.  Joyful Noise is primarily focused on youth and young adults, but it is open to people of all ages who play an instrument or sing, as well as those who feel they don’t have much musical ability but still wish to pray through song.  No audition is required.  Joyful Noise aims to perform twice per month at the 10:00 am Sunday service at St/ David’s Episcopal Church. Church affiliation or membership at St. David’s is not required. Joyful Noise meets on Sunday Mornings at 11:30 am, following the 10:00 Service,
