Join us for the annual Blessing of the Animals!
At St. David’s, we know that our pets are a part of the family – and they’re a part of the extended parish family, too!
On Sunday, October 8th, join us in the parking lot at 2:00 pm as we give thanks to God for the animals in our lives, and ask God to continue to bless us and them in our lives together.
Just stand at the back of your car with your animal. We’ll say a short prayer or two, and then Rev. Jon will come around to each car to give a blessing.
If your pet doesn’t travel well, or gets anxious around others, or for whatever reason – feel free to bring a picture, or a memory, or even a stuffed animal. Everyone is welcome!
This event is free and open to the public.
