Two windows, one containing a
Font in memory of Marion Freeland Gould (1914-1970) and one containing a
Chalice, in memory of Fredrick W. Shaw (1876-1973), represent the two great
Sacraments. In the final analysis these are the only enduring gifts the Church
has to offer the world. Buildings, programs, successes and failures will all
pass with this life; but these two Sacraments are the down payment on eternal
life. It is fitting that they have been depicted in the windows placed nearest
to “the world” that views this Church from Kinnelon Road.
